Poor little thing doesn't have any arms. I still need to stuff them and sew them on. Anytime you make a new pattern, there is always a learning curve. With this pattern, I learned not to stuff the legs, attach them and then sew the body. What a nightmare! At any rate, I was able to sew the body, stuff it and attach the head. I look forward to finishing this doll.
How is this pattern different than the others you have been making? The nose looks a little different----cute!
ReplyDeleteThis pattern features fuller legs and better feet. The arms are needle-sculpted. There are a few new techniques I am trying out as well on this doll. At the moment, I am working on her wig. Then, lastly, I will draft patterns for her outfit which I am still trying to figure out how I want to dress her. Great question!
